Cookie policy
In force since 17 October 2026
Below I explain which cookies and similar technologies trener.tekieli.pl uses, why and for how long, which of them require your consent and how you can change your decision. This cookie policy supplements the Privacy policy.
1. Who is responsible for cookies
Information is collected through cookies and browser storage by Jan Tekieli, running a business under the name Jan Tekieli, Komuny Paryskiej 58A/43, 30-389 Kraków, Poland, VAT ID (NIP): 6762686594, REGON: 540822215.
Where information stored in cookies is personal data, its controller is Jan Tekieli and you have all the rights described in the Privacy policy. Google cookies (statistics and the map) are set by Google, which acts as a separate controller as regards the map.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser and reads on later visits. Browser storage works in a similar way: local storage (localStorage) keeps entries until they are deleted, and session storage (sessionStorage) is cleared when the tab is closed.
- session cookies disappear when you close the browser,
- persistent cookies stay on your device for the period given in the list below or until you delete them.
Storing or reading this information does not change the configuration of your device or the software installed on it. Depending on how it is used, however, it may constitute personal data, in particular where it allows you to be identified indirectly.
3. Types of cookies and why they are used
Essential - used without your consent, because without them the site would not work as you expect (Art. 399(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law). They are used to:
- remember your cookie decision,
- remember that the reminder about an unfinished form was closed,
- protect the site against bots and attacks (Cloudflare),
- keep you signed in to the closed reports panel, used only by people with access.
Analytics - used only with your consent. They are used to:
- keep visit statistics in Google Analytics 4: how many people visit, which pages they read and where they come from,
- remember for the duration of the visit how the site was reached (source, campaign, first page, the button clicked), so that this information can be attached to a contact form enquiry.
Third-party content - loaded only with your consent. On the contact page this is the Google map. Without consent you see a tile linking to the studio's Google profile instead.
The site uses no marketing cookies, no advertising pixels (e.g. Meta Pixel), no remarketing and no profiling for advertising purposes.

5. How to give, change or withdraw consent
On your first visit a cookie banner appears with two equally weighted buttons: “Enable all” and “Essential only”. Until you decide, only essential cookies are used.
You can change your decision at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or the button at the bottom of this page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: it immediately stops measurement, deletes the _ga files and the stored visit context, and the Google map is no longer loaded the next time you open the contact page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Cookies previously set by Google in Google's own domains can be deleted in your browser settings. Your Google account privacy settings are available at g.co/privacytools.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
Regardless of the banner, you can view, delete and block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop some features from working properly, e.g. the banner will appear on every visit. If you use several devices (computer, phone, tablet), adjust the settings in each browser separately.
